I love surprises. I also love children and strongly support military families after having been raised by the son of a Naval officer and having a brother in the Air Force. When Christina contacted me about taking family photos of her and her two beautiful daughters, Anna & Eliza, as a surprise for her husband John (who is out of town for basic training) I was completely on board! I think I ran around more during this shoot than any other because the girls are bursting with energy! I hope you enjoy! Feel free to ooh and ahh at how adorable they are in their matching watermelon dresses!

I love this photo because it almost like one of those old fashioned portraits that you see if your great, great grandma in an oval frame…maybe?
