Oh boy, oh boy. There aren’t a lot of words to describe how excited I am. For the first time , I ran out of words during the shoot and resorted to pointing excitedly, “There, tree, stand by tree, go, tree!” The sky opened up and golden light poured down, the hills were alive!! I know, I’m ridiculous but I’m very serious too, haha. PLUS they were up for anything and we got paint involved. I hope you enjoy one of the meatiest engagement posts ever! Kelsey and Gavin, I LOOOOOOOVE you guys. Can’t wait for your wedding!

We started their shoot at the White Hart in downtown Lynchburg. This exact table is where they had their first day and they were engaged on the back deck! Thanks to the White Hart for letting us come in!

We headed over to West Manor where Kelsey and Gavin are having their reception. I’m sure you can understand my speechlessness.

I overcame my silly fear of hay bales to take these!

So, if it wasn’t already AMAZING, they agreed to a fun and messy project. You can only imagine the laughter and tears this process brought! Thanks needs to be given to Jenny, my intern, without her this wouldn’t have been nearly so successful!

The rules: Gavin had to hold his canvas and couldn’t take his hands off while Kelsey painted it, or him, whichever she chose.

Then it was payback time as Kelsey had to hold hers.

Then they painted one together and…well…you’ll see!

    It got a little crazy.

No long term damage done though.

    You guys are fantastic!!
